The shutter fires pretty accurately at all speeds (tested with a tool). The selenium light meter also appears to be working, the needle moves, reacts to light changes and aperture/shutter speed settings, meter accuracy was not tested. The self-timer works as well. The viewfinder is bright and clear with no haze or fungus, few usual dust particles on the screen. The main issue is that the aperture control lever in the camera body does not appear to work properly, it moves freely and does not stop down the lens aperture when a shot is taken. Looks like an internal spring that pulls it into closed position might have snapped. The lens is in excellent working condition. The glass is clear with no scratches, no cleaning marks, no haze, no fungus, just some minor internal micro-dust noticeable with a flashlight. The aperture opens and closes with no oil on blades. Focusing is easy and smooth. Cosmetically the camera body is in near mint condition with very little signs of use, no scratches, no dents, practically no scuffs on the finish. The lens is in excellent cosmetic conditions with no serious scratches, no dents, with few light scuffs on the finish. It comes with the original Zeiss eveready case that is fully intact, except for some cosmetic rubs on the paint finish. Because of the aperture control lever issue sold as is.
