This listing is for a Yamaha HS 10W 8-inch Powered Studio Subwoofer. It was the predecessor of the HS 8W. The difference is the HS 8W goes 8hz lower, that's it. I've used both. If you're mixing below 30hz you might need the HS 8W. For 99% of commercial music that's going to be rolled fyi. It's an outstanding sub. All the identical features on the outside. If you're using HS 8's now you won't believe the difference this makes with your mixes. The footswitch on/off button is incredibly useful. I have a "custom" box from the original owner.
