Description: WWII Era US Army Air Force AAF Type A-6 Canvas Flare Cartridge Pouch for the AN/M8 Signal Pistol - Excellent Condition - RARE Up for sale is a WWII Era US Army Air Force AAF Type A-6 Flare Cartridge Pouch for the AN/M8 37mm Flare Gun or Signal Pistol. These Flare Guns were used in most AAF Aircraft during WWII. This cartridge pouch was used to store the Flare Cartridges in the Aircraft. These pouches are not commonly encountered and are missing from most AAF collections. The canvas is in Excellent Condition, no rips or tears. The seams are all intact, no fraying. The zipper works properly, the leather tabs are still present. Please see photos for details and condition. This pouch can hold up to twelve 37mm flare cartridges.
