Description: This is for a WWI REPRODUCTION P1912 style #2 EGA (Eagle, Globe and Anchor) This is an excellent REPRODUCTION of a classic Marine Corps insignia. The EGA was the insignia the Marines would have been issued for the campaign hats as well as the overseas hat. Sometimes they were afixed to helmets. Overseas this was the only hat insignia that made them stand out from the Army. This EGA is a perfect replica down to the brass screw back. I have sold many items at military shows, reenactments and to Marine Corps Veterans. My repro badges have been on display in museums and can be seen in the Marine Corps Quantico museum, with no complaints, just excitement. This EGA will fit on a helmet if needed. The last picture shows it affixed to a helmet.(helmet not included) This item is a must for the collector, reenactor, historian or Marine Corp collector.
