Description: WW2 American M-1 Schleuter Helmet shell with Westinghouse liner. Shell is rear seamed with typical round crimp. Heat stamp is 12A with the Schleuter “S”stamped below. It has later war swivel bales. The paint is almost black with some patina on cork finish possibly Korean War or later applied. Chinstrap has a cut and hardware has rust.
