Found machine on Craigslist for free because did not work. I took it to my trusted sewing machine repair person (Atlanta’s Steve Nixon!!) and asked his opinion before he and he thought it was worth spending money on it to fix. ——-IMPORTANT: I have not used the special stitch disc cartridges and I’m only vouching for this machine to be used as a standard machine and not with the plastic cartridges. I used it a bit however I have four sewing machines so I decided to sell for same amount I spent having it serviced. DO YOUR DUE DILIGENCE BEFORE PURCHASING THIS MACHINE. Google this model, you will see reviews that call out the fact that the specialty disc cartridges become brittle over time. WHILE I AM INCLUDING THE DISCS, the machine does not need those discs to operate as a classic workhorse sewing machine. I recommend this machine for an experienced sewer mainly because the dials aren’t the like the intuitive settings on today’s machines. Inexperienced sewers often change settings too aggressively.
