Woolworth Co. , 5611 Germantown Ave. Germantown, PA .\ 234/ This stencil is in good condition for its age. Edges are worn from use and storage. Front is pretty heavily inked with signs of brush strokes slightly throughout but mostly seen around the outer edges of the inked area. There are vertical lines, smudges, and fingerprints within the ink. All the stencil lettering is intact and easy to read. On the 2nd copy, the stencilmaker messed up the F in "F.W. Woolworth" and has overlapped the F and W. The ink on this one is very splotchy but there are slight signs of brush strokes. On the back of this one is the handwritten date 5/18/34. Again, both copies are included in the sale. *$2 bill is for size reference and is not included in the sale. Answers to Questions We get on These: 1) Material is a Sturdy Oil Board. 2) There is an inky scent to some of the heavier used stencils. If you are sensitive to some smells, please keep this in mind. 3) There is only one of each location.
