The top and sides of the ring are wrapped in slabs of polished black onix The onix is inlaid with ribbons of bright 14K gold--there are four gold ribbons on the face of the ring and one ribbon on each side. The gold is very striking against the black onix. This ring is very wearable. The surface is smooth and it sits comfortably on the finger.
