For sale is this intensely hand tooled Woman's Norse Leather Armor with leather Dress, skirt, halter top, hand made shield plus weapons and accessories. Before I go into detail on this please let me say this is my best piece in 35yrs, most intensely tooled in detail and my Farwell piece as I will be retiring soon. This piece is Fantasy but has historical elements to it. All leather is 9-10oz tooling. The breast plate is molded to a C-Cup, may fit smaller size's as this is molded to form. This plate also features a top cover making it truly more Armor like. I won't go into to much on the tooling as you can see how intensely and fine the tooling is in the pictures. The front plate features the Dragon theme with a Thor's Hammer (Mjolnir) and the rune "Ottastafur' (to put fear into one's enemies) at the top. The Back has the Rune "Aegishjalmur" (Protection in Battle) with one Bracer having the Rune Dragons Eye (This is known to represent, Love, Power and wisdom with the balance to choose good or evil). The other Bracer has Odin's Valknut, one of the many Runes associated with Odin. The rest of the Armor carries the Dragon theme through out. The arm of the Pauldren has the tooling bleeding into the under laying piece for a very unique look. The dress, halter top and skirt are all out of 3-4oz deer tanned cow, all featuring laser engraved Norse images matching the Armor. Tooled leather overlay and accents complement this piece while adding support and strength. This out fit also come with these accessories. Horn frog with horn, 2 Belts, 2 hand laced pouches all fully tooled to match. The helm is made to match also out of 9-10oz tooling leather and solid brass Chainmail which is also used on the breastplate. The mail on the helm is much longer than what I have pictured right now. Also included is the shield, hand made by myself out of Poplar wood 1/2" thick made in pie sections for strength, with stainless steel banding on the outer edge, the busk is 18 gage steel. This shield thou show can take a real beating and painted in a classic style. The axe is hand forged 1060 high carbon steel with a 30" engraved Hickory handle. The spear tip is hand forged 560 iron. (for shipping costs I will not include the shaft, it is just doll rod you can get anywhere). All solid Brass hardware and rivets are used on all this. Breastplate and tops fit, waist; 25.5" to 34.5", under bust; 29.5" to 35.5". Helm 22.5" to 23". Upper legs strap is long and should be worn loose for movement. All pieces have been edge beveled, dyed brown and hand burnished. All clear coated to add protection for weather. So there you have it one massive outfit to be worn in many ways, all ready for battle or to the market, for the long road or just to wear at home, you have it all.
