WISCONSIN VH4D VG4D W4-1770 V465D PER-LUX DISTRIBUTOR CAP ROTOR-READ LISTING

Description: Due to a high amount of Wisconsin ignition items ordered in error please read the entire item description before ordering parts. Wisconsin used several ignition systems such as Per-Lux (Pertronix), Prestolite and Colt (Fairbanks Morse) on each of these models and one size does not fit all! You need to identify your distributor before ordering parts. This is a brand new distributor cap and rotor kit for a Wisconsin 4-cylinder VH4, VH4D, VG4D, W4-1770 or V465D model engines using a Pertronix Per-Lux electronic ignition distributor. They fit a Wisconsin 4-cylinder distributor part number YF50S1 or YF50AS1 and can be identified by the word Per-Lux cast in the top of the distributor cap as well as having a vent on top of the cap as shown in the pictures as well as the cap being retained to the distributor base by spring latches instead of screws. The Wisconsin cap part numbers are 20121003 or 20121016 while the rotor part numbers are 20121006 or 20121020. If you do not have this model of distributor then this cap and rotor will not work. If this is not your distributor design there are 2 other manufacturers that made distributors for these models. Prestolite and Colt. I have the Prestolite distributor tune up kit listed in another listing . I no longer supply parts for the Colt. I am an engine rebuilder that is familiar with these engines.
