The sugar bowl measures 2 1/2" high and a total of 6 1/2" across including the handles. The opening at the top is 3 1/4" across. The pattern is a white background which has a beautiful continuous small dainty floral design in soft vibrant shades of pink with leaves and foliage in many shades of tans, browns, and gray detailed all around this sugar bowl. There is a gold band around this pattern surrounding a very pale gray border measuring 1/2" wide and then finally finished off with another gold band along the outside edge creating a nice finished and very elegant look. The handles are also trimmed with the gold . There is absolutely no fading, chips, or cracks. The cover has the same pattern is the same floral design beautifully covering the cover. There are also several gold bands making this a really nice coordinating cover.
