Description: c. ? 1900 Cabinet Card Photograph G. Embrey Wholesale Baker, Queen St.Photographer’s imprint: Chas. W Hassall, Osborne Studios, Church Street, Longton. A wonderful image of the G. Embrey Wholesale Baker, Queen St.Photographer’s imprint at lower right: Chas. W Hassall, Osborne Studios, Church Street, Longton. I received some info from a friendly eBay member saying that “This baker was popular in the south of Stoke-on-Trent - I think they were based at Queen Street, Fenton, Stoke-on-Trent”The photograph measures 5 ½ x 4 inches, mounted on to a heavy card stock mat measuring 10 x 8 inches, some light shelf wear to the extremities of the mat, faint bow to the card stock and wrinkling in the upper blank margins the photograph is in very good condition.A rare cabinet card photograph, this is a nice opportunity to add this to your collection.
