Description: Welcome to Antiques & Moore! This listing is for a lovely antique Sterling Silver vegetable serving spoon by Whiting Mfg. Company in the LOUIS XV pattern issued in 1891. This pattern has a beautifully embossed scroll design in high relief that extends down both sides of handle. No monogram. Marked with the trademark stamp of the Whiting Mfg. Company and "Pat. 1891, Sterling" and "Mermod & Jaccard Co." for retailer. Measures 7 1/2" long and 2 1/4" wide. Weighs 50 grams. This lovely spoon is in very good Estate condition with no major flaws although there is one tiny dark speck in the bowl otherwise reflects only minor signs of normal wear.
