From 1996..Information via Research: . In trying to research this doll, I found several versions of "Easter Bonnet" Wendy. I don't know if Alexander issued an "Easter Bonnet" doll every year since I saw many different versions of this doll (from this Series). .This doll is fully tagged inside her dress as "Easter Bonnet"..I do not have the original box or COA to this doll, and therefore all I can do, is describe her to you below. I've taken many photos of this Wendy, in case you recognize her and need her to complete your collection...DESCRIPTION:. The Doll..... Lovely 8-inch Wendy doll. She is better than "very good condition". GREAT CONDITION actually.She has on her single-stitched blonde wing with curly bangs, and her hair is pulled back, and at the back nape, she has many tiny curls. Her eyes are a unique "grey" color, and they have intact molded lashes. Her unique eyes seem to shine like little "black diamonds"---very bright & twinkly. Slightly rosey cheeks. Her complexion is LIGHT. Dark coral colored lips. Thin brows. She has straight legs. The Outfit..... The flowered, puffy sleeved dress has a pale yellow background with different blue flowers in a line pattern (horizontal).The collar and sleeves have a lace trim. Dress has back snaps. Over her dress is an apron with a pretty applique on the side, of a FLOWER BASKET. Pink bows highlight her apron. Underneath she has on a fluffy lace-trimmed slip. And she has on white bloomers with a lace trim also. She has on, hip-length white patterned socks, and pink satin Alexander (slip-on) satin slipper shoes..Alexander Label= The dress is labeled with the Alexander tag, as such: "EASTER BONNET", By Madame Alexander (TM), Made in USA. {See last photo}. . HER BONNET= Wendy's bonnet is fabulous of course. It is made of pale colored straw, and large, and it has a pink satin ribbon to keep the hat around her chin..The BASKET= This Wendy is holding a tiny and delicate flower basket with these unique flowers made of a type of 'resin' with green leaves. I've seen variations of this doll holding a basket of Easter eggs. But I'm not sure if this doll is another VARIATION, and came with just a flower basket and no eggs. (?)
