Description: The Wand This is a gorgeous and unusual Mistletoe wood wand made from a piece of mistletoe from Wales that was broken from the apple tree on which it was growing. The wand measures about 8 inches in length, and comes with a free wand bag made from upcycled fabric. Mistletoe is a true parasitic plant - it grows on its host plant and takes nutrition from it - it particularly favours apple. It grows in what looks like big green balls high up in the trees, only really seen properly in the winter when the host tree sheds its leaves and leaves the evergreen mistletoe. Mistletoe is associated with love, kissing and magic and is sacred to Druids. We don't often find pieces of mistletoe fallen to work with, so this is an unusual wand.
