Description: This set of 7 Wedgwood of Etruria & Barlaston majolica salad/dessert plates is in outstanding condition. These highly glazed, lightly scalloped vibrant green dishes measure about 7.75 inches in diameter and stand 1 inch high. There are no chips and no cracks anywhere on these plates. The only crazing I can see is one line on the back of two of the plates (see 3rd to last photo). This set's other flaws are few: There are some faint scratches on the plates (see 2nd to last photo). One plate has more obvious scratching in one corner only (see last photo). In addition, there is some cloudiness in the glaze itself, which is noticeable only in very bright light. Each piece is marked "Wedgwood of Etruria & Barlaston Made in England." "Wedgwood A 7 GG 61" is incised on the back of each green gem in the set.
