Description: Simple, elegant, and beautiful. Solid 18k gold Barley pattern Waterman fountain pen. Each part of the pen has French hallmarks for solid 18k gold. Total weight is over 30 grams. The cap is 100% gold I believe, it weighs 9.8g. The body of the pen has a thin plastic liner it looks like, otherwise all gold, it weighs 11.4g. The insert makes up the rest of the weight, it’s only partially gold I believe. I’d say at least a solid 2/3 of the weight is actual solid .750 gold. Condition is excellent. No damage to speak of. Minor tiny surface scratches from handling maybe but that’s it. A very rare vintage pen. It feels AMAZING in the hand. It’s a definite power move to pull out a solid 18k gold pen. There’s no mistaking it for anything other than solid gold when you see it in person. Ships ASAP with signature required on delivery. Can be picked up in person just outside of Boston.
