Description: Presenting a vintage Waterman’s hundred year fountain pen and pencil set, which was manufactured in Canada circa 1940s. L.E. Waterman adopted the new material for its next-generation top-of-the-line model; and in 1939, introduced Waterman’s Hundred Year Pen, the world’s first Lucite pen. The model eventually returned to celluloid. This vintage Waterman 100 Year Fountain Pen and Pencil Set is a stunning addition to any writing instrument collection and has been fully restored and ready to write. The fountain pen bears the stamp ‘A Waterman’s MADE IN CANADA HUNDRED YEAR PEN’ with the ‘IDEAL’ globe. The pencil displays the “Waterman’s Made in Canada” stamp. The fountain pen features the signature Waterman ‘Hundred Year Pen’ Signature 14ct Solid Gold Fine Nib nib that writes smoothly. A new sac is fitted, and the lever filling system is in nice condition. The pencil is also in fine working condition with some minor barrel slippage. There are some minor wears due to age, especially on the box. The set is not personalized and comes as is. This is a rare find for collectors of Waterman pens and would make a great gift for anyone who appreciates the art of writing. Don't miss out on the opportunity to own this outstanding set.
