Description: Waterford Crystal Innisfail (Cut) Champange Tall / Sherbet Mint Condition ~ Waterford Signed This stunning Waterford Champagne Tall / Sherbet is simple and elegant in design, and in mint, like new condition. The pattern name, Innisfail, was derived from the stone Lia Fail or Stone of Destiny at the Hill of Tara in Waterford's southern countryside. There, at the Inaugural Mound, kings were crowned and the ancient seat of the High Kings of Ireland resided until the 6th century AD. Innisfail was produced between the years of 1950 and 2017. This fine piece of crystal feels soft and warm in your hand and if you tap the rim lightly it will sing sweetly. Durable yet elegant, it radiates a distinctive, silvery white brilliance and the crystal sparkles. Like most Waterford, this glass has a nice weight to it which makes for a comfortable and easy grip. Knowing How to Determine the Quality of Waterford Crystal Is a cord or line in crystal a flaw? No. A line or cord is not considered a flaw. This almost invisible difference in the density of the crystal occurs during the fusing of molten crystal. Caring for Your Waterford Crystal The best solution is always washing by hand, avoid using scouring pads or abrasive detergents. To prevent spotting, combine a quarter cup ammonia with a mild lemon detergent. Clean bowls, vases and decanters by filling them half-full with moderately hot water, a small amount of mild detergent, two tablespoons of white vinegar or ammonia and 1/2 cup uncooked rice. Swirl the rice around for a few minutes to remove residue. Do not use an automatic dishwasher as this could cause your crystal to lose its brilliance. Rinse well with warm water and air dry.
