Description: For sale is a lovely matching set of works by Washington Irving published in decorative blue cloth binding with titles in gold along the spines. This edition was published likely in the 1890s, printed by Trow's and published by the Belford Company of New York (of Belford's Magazine). Volumes measure approximately 5 1/4" wide by about 7 1/2" tall. These are in very good overall condition for age, some light discoloration to covers as well as some scuffs and scratches and edge wear. Binding is excellent, these were not opened much. Page edges have some discoloration and a bit of staining; pages themselves are yellowed and a bit brittle from age with a few small tears to be found at edges.
