Product Details Limu, often known as the black sheep of the Ethiopian family due to its topical and geographical nature. The region in itself is in fact not officially a part of Ethiopia. The politically defined zone is named Jimma. Limu is what it is commonly known for, it is the typical coffee flavour which is found in the region of Jimma and its neighbouring region, Illubabor. The Ethiopian Commodity Exchange (ECX) divided the Limu flavoured coffees into two categories, namely A and B. Category A of Limu represents coffee from woredas (districts) of Jimma, whilst Category B represents coffee from woredas of Illubabor. Coffees from Limu yield a smooth, clean cup with subtle citric acidity. Our high-quality lots are used to serve as a single-origin coffee for your experience, albeit we note that there are medium-quality lots that can serve as a perfect component for coffee blending. Altitude: Our Limu crops are picked from a height that is 1500 - 1800 MASL or 4900 - 5900 ft above sea level, a truly unique position to offer a distinctive and quality coffee profile.
