Description: Further description to possibly come if more info arises. Before you send me a message saying that this is not Walt’s signature, I’m very aware of the possibility that is is not his so please read the description. I’m valuing a starting point based off of the fact that this is now documented as one of the rarest, if not the rarest Disney publication in the world today. This is a very rare Walt Disney collection. This is one of the rarest if not the rarest Disney publication in the world. The value is held in the book itself. Not necessarily the signature. The pictures explain the story. From my understanding it’s a simple as this. The Omaha Nebraska Technical High School was promoting the sales of war bonds during WWII. This was an item that you could buy. The teacher was working with Disney Productions on using characters in a flip book and Walt Disney actually signed off on it. I don’t know if the publication was created at Disney productions or the Omaha Tech School but the copy that I have was signed and approved by Walt Disney himself as the newspaper article states. If one wants to disagree with any of the information listed, the signature, whether it is Disney’s himself or signed by a secretary, the price is based around the rarity of the publication. This is one of, if not the rarest Disney publications in the world. One of the possibilities of it being his signature is based off of the one that went across the antiques road show. You get everything in the pictures including the bound newspaper grouping with the article that proves that the publication was working directly with Walt Disney.
