Description: Nice vintage Tulane and Newcomb College yearbook from 1926. This school year includes the infamous 1925 football team, arguably the best in Tulane history. The year book incudes a team picture, individual pictures of players such as All American Peggy Flournoy, as well as some game photos. Amazingly, the team apparently was invited to play in the Rose bowl but the Tulane administration turned the invitation down because it would interfere with the student player’s studies. Times sure have changed. Condition is good considering age. Some water stains on bottom of some pages. A picture has been cut out of the books. Look at pictures for condition.
