Description: This patch weighs less than 2oz before packaging. The patch measures 2 3/4" in diameter. This is a vintage United States Maritime Service patch from World War II. It has clearly been used and was, at one time, sewn onto a uniform. It has gold and navy rope around the edge of the patch. There is some discoloration/substance on the back of the patch. See photos. It's unclear what that substance is. I have not tried to clean it off. You cannot see the substance from the front side of the patch. Otherwise, the patch is in very good, used condition.
