VTG Womens Italian Wool Sweater Size Large, Embroidered Appliqué, Khaki Olive

Description: This is a used, well cared for vintage Italian wool blend sweater in a Women's Size Large in an oversized, relaxed fit. I think it is superb quality and timeless style in a light weight blend of 75% wool, 21% nylon and 4% angora. The color is a warm khaki olive with the complimentary embroidered appliqué in brown, orange, gold and black. I bought it in Italy in the mid 1990s. I am about 5' 8" and 160 pounds, and when I wear the sweater it falls into place nicely below my hip if I wear it untucked, similar to a comfy tunic style with the knit waistband. This has been a fabulous for work, for casual wear, parties, and just for fun too. And it travels well, which is great. I think it has a relaxed fit cut through the body. It is not fitted on me. Condition of an item is subjective, but I think the Italian sweater is in excellent condition, still excellent looking and excellent wearing. There are some areas of light wear but I don’t think it's noticeable. There is some wear on the left sleeve elbow area. I think the arm pit areas are in excellent condition too. It has always been dry cleaned to keep it looking great. Please see the photos. Color may vary due to the lighting of my photos, my camera, and your monitor display. Some photos are taken with more light to show detail. I think the photo #1 shows the colors well. The dimensions of the awesome Sweater laying flat are approximately: armpit to armpit 23.5", the length from the back of the neckline to the bottom of the hem is 28", the hem across un-stretched is 21.5", the sleeve length is 21" from the shoulder seam.
