The recess for the front-loading photo is 4x4". The frame is 5/8" thick. A design of deeply cut frosted fern fronds decorates the frame. Incorporated into the frame at the center bottom is a 2" extending foot that acts as a stand. The recess for the photo is open, without any kind of glass insert or fastening device. The photo would be set into the recess and perhaps taped with a loop on the back to secure it to the frame. This frame is in excellent pre-owneded condition. It looks like it was never used.
