Description: This blouse is constructed from a super fine, lightweight, very soft cotton batiste, and decorated in beautiful drawn work and white work embroidery of flowers and leaves.The waist band features emboidery as well. It is quite sheer, so you may wish to bear this mind as you consider appropriate undergarments. It buttons up the back with pink pearlized buttons, and has hooks and fabric loops at the waistband. A tag is present reading “Leonie’s Dress Shop | 1674 Pennsylvania”. I could find nothing about this shop online, so it may not have been around for very long. I am guessing the top dates back to the 1950s, possibly earlier. CONDITION ISSUES - a cluster of holes on the back, just above and the left of the second button down. (See photos № 9-11.) - a small hole on the top layer of the waistband in the front (photo № 12-13 ).
