💥VTG Sheer Full Length Pale BLUE CHIFFON Peignoir ROBE & GOWN Shadowline EUC

Description: This vintage ShadowLine peignoir robe and gown set is in excellent condition. Made of delicate chiffon material, giving it a delicate and elegant look. The set comes in a beautiful pale blue color, perfect for a babydoll look. So pale blue it almost looks white. I can’t decide if the lace is white or a paler shade of blue and I’m seeing it in person. The front closure of the robe is two faux pearl buttons in loops of chiffon. Wide lace goes top to bottom along the opening of the robe. Two layers of chiffon on the front panels, one in the back. The gown has clusters of faux seed pearls decorating the bodice, which is also covered in lace and chiffon and gathers and ties at an empire waist and at the top center, it ties and gathers again all in chiffon material. There is a nylon lining and chiffon overlay on the gown. The set includes matching robe and gown, both of which are original and from the United States. The gown has a chest size of 18 inches (seam to seam at the armpit) and a waist size of 32 inches, with a shoulder to hem length of 51 inches. In excellent condition for its age, probably 60s to 70s era. Considering chiffon is so easily snagged, this darling saw little to no wear in its heyday. See photo no. 18 for a shot of the only teensy snags I could find on the back panel of the robe, not seen without a close up and the only flaws to be found at all on this lovely, innocent, shy thing!
