I was taking tea ceremony classes, so I loved to collect all types of bowls; I never used any except for my practice bowl. Tucked away for over fifty years in my cabinet. I love the details in this Emperor and Empress bowl fired to perfection with gorgeous colors and embellished with gold paint details by this famous maker, who created numerous bowls; I found a used one currently trending originally for $100. Signed in Japanese characters on the bottom; see photo. If you love colorful bowls and/or love Girls' Day celebration in Japan in March when the Imperial Court dolls are exhibited, this is a fabulous bowl to have.
