Description: Offering this darling kitschy vintage Mid Century Modern ceramic biscuit/cookie jar and lid. It is off white/ivory in color and has raised hand painted grapes and a bamboo handle. It is 7 inches squared. It is marked made in Japan on the base of the jar. It has a very Tiki feel to it and could easily double as a small jar or cannister for so many things. The bamboo handle is secure and without fray. There are no chips, cracks, stains, utensil markings, or signs of surface wear present. There is some fine crazing to the jar which is representative of its age and usage. I believe this piece to have seen little use and gentle care. It shows beautifully and I consider it to be in very good condition. #6219 BBJ .
