Description: WEISS RHINESTONE BROOCH & KRAMER EARRINGS This listing features a glamorous mixed maker lot of Kramer earrings and a Weiss brooch, each ablaze with marquise and round clear glass rhinestones in rhodium-plated settings. These pieces date back to the late 1940s or early 1950s (no later than 1955), belonged to my mother and were only ever worn by her. Although they have different makers, the quality of workmanship, materials, and design complement each other nicely without being the usual ho-hum matchy-matchy. They are all signed and in excellent condition. The rhinestones are original, prong set, bright, and super sparkly (my photo lighting makes some of the stones around the sides look grey but they are all clear and bright). The brooch measures 2 inches tall by just under 1 3/4 inches wide and is slightly domed at 3/4 inches thick, including the clasp. The top layer has a slight wiggle but is secure. This is an easy fix but unnecessary for now. The clip-back earrings work beautifully and are also domed, measuring approximately 1 1/4 inches tall by 1 inch wide by a little under 3/4 inches thick. This is the good stuff — the vintage dress-up jewelry that is always going to be highly collectible “costume royalty”. It doesn't get much better than Weiss or Kramer, so I’m sure the new owner will be thrilled with these extraordinary jewels. A new gift box is included.
