Description: Vintage LA Darling chrome advertising paperweight - VERY heavy!! Features the cool little guy that was the logo for the LA Darling Company. The L.A. Darling Company is one of the oldest and most diversified Store Fixture Manufacturers in North America. The company was founded in 1897 as the Ideal Fixture Company in Coldwater, MI. The first company plant was located in nearby Bronson, MI. In the early part of the 20th century, Lewis Archer Darling bought the company and changed its name to L.A. Darling Company. It is now owned by the Berkshire Hathaway Company. This vintage paperweight is in very good condition and measures about 3" in height and the base is just over 3.5" across.
