Description: Vintage H. Stern hand made doll. This piece is very detailed, from the crocheted head dress basket with different colored yarn peeking out of the basket. Her hair wrap is a green satin type material, she has stitched facial features, cream color lace top, red felt skirt with felt flower on each side, green felt shoes and a plaid scarf with fringe. She stand on a wood base with RIO on the front of it. Her arms and legs are made of metal then wrapped with a soft rope or yarn material. The sticker on the bottom reads: H. Stern with a Jewel symbol, AV.RIO BRANCO No 173-6o AND. IND. BRASILEIRA. Very unique and rare piece. The workmanship is so detailed and beautiful. Good vintage condition. There is a stain on the lace on her back. She measures 5 3/4" Tall x 2" Wide at the base x 1 1/4" Deep at the base.
