The Goodwin family started weaving in the United States during the early 1800's. Goodwin Guild Weavers was established in 1952 in Blowing Rock, North Carolina and operated until the 1990's. They specialized in jacquard reproductions of colonial coverlets. This is a heavy coverlet. Condition: Very Good original condition. Design clear and crisp. Exquisite detail. This was photographed on a king size bed . Double Weave See photos for a few tiny pulls One small spot on beige side I acquired this at an estate sale and have not had it cleaned.
