There are very minor signs of wear. Please review the photos closely. The clock radio has been tested under electrical power (plugged in). Both the AM and FM radio bands work. The dual alarms, snooze and sleep were tested. The speaker still works with the full range of volume. For years we have found that the soft touch buttons require firm pressure for them to respond, but they otherwise all work fine. The battery backup was tested. By design, the digital clock display does not light while under battery power. The clock and alarm settings were preserved while under battery backup. It was noticed that alarms did attempt to trigger on schedule as a slight crackle or pop was heard, but the radio did not turn on or the alarm sound while on battery backup. Once electric power returned to the clock radio, the clock displayed the stored time and alarms blared (or turned the radio on). 9-Volt battery NOT included.
