Description: This pretty pill box hearkens back approximately to the 1960s or 70s. It is made of metal and on the inside is a plastic insert that divides the interior into two compartments. The plastic insert feels, to me, to be a bit brittle, but can easily be removed to make one larger opening. The top of pillbox is enameled in a sweet floral motif that includes a large pink rose . The background is a pale blue. The metal itself is in wonderful condition, looking quite shiny and with very little wear. It might be brass, but I am not certain. The box measures 1 1/4" square is about 5/8" tall. A lovely piece that can be pressed into service for its original purpose or placed on a vanity table or shelf as a pretty accent piece if not a piece of a larger collection.
