There are two slides sold in this set. The closed dimension is 32 inches and fully extended is 51 inches which leaves you a maximum opening of 19 inches. These slides operate smoothly, having been recently removed from a deconstructed vintage dining room table. Note that Jefferson Wood Working Co in Louisville KY made table slides in 1910s to 1920s.
