Description: Auction is for a vintage soapstone carved and inlaid trinket box made in India. Flower on lid is inlaid with Mother-of-pearl with a center of cinnabar and a darker stone for the leaves. Sides of bottom are intricately carved in an open design. With top on box, it measures 1-1/2” in height and is 3” across the top. There are a few age-related scrapes (see pics) that might be able to be buffed out with a good polishing but there are no cracks or breaks. Please make sure you look at the photos as they are an important part of the description. Will be safely wrapped for secure shipping. Shipping is $6 flat rate. NOTE!
