Dogwood Flowers and Branches on Simulated Brown Bark Background. Handle formed as a green dogwood branch. Usually unmarked, this Joseph Holdcroft pitcher has his name impressed on bottom of pitcher along with ‘FO’. Pre-owned good condition but with some chips around top rim and crack across bottom. Small ¼” glaze chip top flower edge. Please see photos as they are part of description. Despite these imperfections, which could be repaired, this is a wonderful example from this well-known English potter.
