Description: Vintage Deadstock 90s formal dress- new with tags! Features corset style top, has boning in the front and the back ties are adjustable. Side zip, spaghetti straps, back slit. No stretch, made in the USA and sold at Kaufmanns, which was later bought out by Macy’s. This is the same color, style, and store that one of my formal dresses came from in the early to mid 90s. It is a dark purple color, but the straps are more of a lighter wine or berry color. This discoloration is typical with vintage formalwear. Tag states junior size 7/8. Vintage tends to run smaller, and this appears to be the appropriate size of my teen’s size 6 modern dresses. The measurements are shown in the photos. The back ties are adjustable, but the velvet has no stretch, and the shoulder spaghetti straps are not adjustable.
