Description: Up for sale is a pair of Original Made in USA Vintage early 1980's Minty Levis 501 Called "Intermediate" and Post- Redline, Button Fly Denim Jeans in Unisex Men's measured Size 36 x 35. In amazing used condition (please read condition below). Older desirable inside label, (photos # 6,7) US Levis manufacture # 552, this series started around the same time 501 Redlines production were ending, I even believe at one point they probably were made on the same lines since there is no difference whatsoever in any fabrication components including denim, beside the selvedge. Same reason they are called intermediate and hard to find, they were produced for a short run. Beware, fitting is straight with higher waist, front rise is about 12", label says 38 x 36 they now measure 36 x 35 make sure to compare these measurements with one of your current jeans, all measurements are in photos or below. Condition: Fantastic overall vintage condition, item sold as found. (see photos). All 5 pockets stitching are strong, fully attached and look great inside out (photo # 14). Outer body shell is really clean and superb, found no holes, stains, defects, alterations whatsoever, no thinning areas either, a really strong pair for it's age, must have been cared for back in the days. Crotch area shows no excessive wear either see (photo # 11). Bottom legs hems are original and chain stitched. That's about it, please always review all photos.
