Description: -Vintage hand blown art glass vase.-Made in 1973 by John Byron.-Byron has worked in Georgia and Mississippi, and is well known for his glass paperweights.-Engraved on bottom of vase: J Byron / 73.-The vase features chocolate brown swirls on a creamy background.-The entire piece is cased in clear glass.-Ground pontil.-Height is 6 inches.-Diameter is 6.5 inches at the widest part; 2.5 inches at the top opening; and 2 inches at the base.-A nice heavy piece--it weighs 3 pounds.-Vase is in excellent vintage condition. -No cracks, chips, scratches, etc.-I get consistently high marks for my packing. I will ship this vase in a box-within-a-box, surrounded by lots of padding.
