HERE WE HAVE: A vintage Coleman camping lantern! This piece is marked on the side as model 228E. I believe this is a "Big Hat" style since it has the larger ventilation at the top? Not certain though!The bottom is marked with the date code "5 53". *8/26/24* CONDITION: Being sold as is, untested! It looks to be in pretty good condition physically! I don't have mantles for it and the tank is empty. Some surface scratches, scuffs, rust spots, color loss, and discoloration throughout. There are a couple chips to the porcelain coating on the cap. Will come as shown, so please see photos! MEASUREMENTS: Lantern measures approximately 15" tall excluding the bail handle, 10" wide at furthest points and the base has a diameter of about 6".
