The matching round powder compact has mirror, powder compartment, powder screen and puff. Clear plastic comb has textured gold tone framed spine.The richly textured woven gold brocade motif presents pagodas, parasols and men carrying water in powder blue, pink and green. The bag has a covered button snap closure and gusseted sides. There is a carrying strap on the back.Purse is gold marked, “Lin Bren”, with logo. Dates to 1950.Opens from either side to reveal black, ribbed satin and two side pockets, one of which is sized for the compact. Additional comb pocket.Measures 7-1/2 inches wide x 4-1/2 inches high x 1-7/8 inches deep at base.The bag is in excellent condition with no wear to brocade, including at corners and back hand strap.
