Description: Here's my concert ticket for Voivod in Seattle on April 29, 1996. What a rough night for the band. They got there super late because they'd been held up at the Canadian border. When they got to the China Club (a restaurant/bar where my own band(s) had played many, many times), they came in through the side door right where the audience was waiting... at least, what audience there was. I doubt there was more than 50 people there. They didn't even have their gear. It was held up at the border! The opening band let Voivod borrow their instruments. In a matter of minutes, they got started and tore through their set like the seasoned professionals they are. Even as tired and stressed as they must have been, they were gracious with the fans when we came up afterward to chat them up and compliment them. Vintage, rare, and hard to find.
