Description: Very pretty long oval porcelain celery dish or serving tray made by Zeh, Scherzer (ZS & Co) of Bavaria, Germany. The mark on the back dates this piece to between 1880-1920. The pattern is called "Orleans" and it features pink and white roses with greenery on a white ground with molded edges and gold trim. This piece measures about 12 1/2" long, 5 1/2" wide and 1 1/2" tall. The porcelain itself is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks; there is a lot of wear to the gold trim and a small orange stain and a few freckles in the center. But the rose design is lovely! Orleans is a great "shabby chic" pattern that must have been one of ZS's most popular ones because you can still find it today, and it is easy to put together a collection very inexpensively!
