This amazing piece was likely made in the 1940's and features age-appropriate patina or tarnish: the warm brass tones compliment many decor styles. I have not tried to polish or remove any patina from this piece - though you may choose to as you wish or keep the authentic patina of this unique piece. The twisted brass handle/bale folds down. Piece measures approximately 13.5" across; basket is approximately 6" deep and 13.5" tall with handle in upright position. It is quite heavy! An excellent addition to your brass collection and truly unique.
