The only markings on this reel is “Wizard” on the side and the number “60” under the reel seat. We can’t find any information on Wizard reels in the guides we have. Needs a good cleaning but everything seems to work. This is a nice reel for a vintage tackle display. A lot of people buying from us want us to leave the reels “as is” and not clean them up or oil them. They want to display these reels in their original condition. (We even sell these reels to a guy who mounts them on a piece of weathered barn wood to use as a coat rack and cabin décor). So we remove the dust and leave everything else “as is.” Feel free to leave them alone or “fix ‘em up.” If you have never fished with vintage tackle, you should give it a try. Strap one of these vintage reels on an old metal rod. Tie on a wood plug to your braided line and start casting. After about your first couple dozen backlashes you’ll appreciate the skills that old anglers had…It’s a blast ….try it. Thanks for looking at our ad.
