Description: Vintage WALTHAM Self Winding Mechanical Automatic Day Date 17 Jewels Watch - fully serviced The silvery dial is clean and fully legible with "Waltham self-winding, Incabloc 17 Jewels, Swiss Made". The acrylic dome is without scratches and has no visible imperfections. The gold-tone fluted bezel is in very good condition as is all other surfaces, no major imperfections. The gold-tone band was replaced with an DASSARI reddish-orange leather 19mm strap finished with a gold-tone anodized buckle to match the gold-tone case. The day/date function works perfectly and advances properly. The writing on the dial is very clean and presentable. The Waltham watch case measures just under 38mm without the crown. The thickness is just under 12mm. End of lug to lug measures just over 43mm. The 19mm leather strap is comfortable and the original gold-tone band (not shown) will be included. As this was part of my personal collection, it has been fully serviced, cleaned and oiled by a reputable watch shop in June of this year, 2024. This is a great example of a 1970's Waltham watch. Notably the dial layout was inspired by the Rolex model 1803.
