Description: Vintage 1960's Verity Southall salt shaker and pepper mill/grinder. Made of walnut they have a warm and beautiful medium wood grain finish. The salt shaker is 8 1/4 inches tall and 2 1/2 inches in diameter. It has its original red rubber stopper. The pepper mill is 8 3/4 inches tall counting the top screw and is also 2 1/2 inches in diameter. The grinder mechanism is stainless steel. The company name and "El Segunda CA, USA" are imprinted on the bottom metal. Nice heavy pieces, together they weigh 1 pound 9.5 ounces. The bottoms show some minor shelf wear and the salt shaker has a few small nicks. (see last photo close ups.) Great for a collector or for everyday use, classic and timeless.
